Remaining Relevant in a Shifting Ecosystem
The Challenge
New industries, geographies, and key players outside of the traditional medical paradigm are transforming the health tech innovation ecosystem. Recognizing this shift, and with the intention to remain relevant, effectively facilitate relationships between entrepreneurs and physicians, and ensure digital health solutions have input from physicians, a non-profit medical association sought out a comprehensive immersion within the NEW health tech ecosystem.
Path Forward
Egg established a pulse on the innovation ecosystem and executed a multi-pronged methodology including an in-depth landscape analysis, industry expert intercepts at the nation’s leading health tech and innovation conferences, and over 50 1:1 interactions with entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and accelerators. Then, through carefully curated immersions and influencer events, the team worked directly with key players within the health tech innovation ecosystem for unprecedented behind-the-scenes learning experiences.
Impact
The non-profit medical association is now primed with an outreach strategy and custom-tailored rules of engagement, highlighting the value only they bring to the industry. Both of which, are being used to forge important partnerships and facilitate funding of health tech innovation within their three Strategic Arcs.
