A founding partner of Egg Strategy and the firm’s President, Heather brings incredible energy, expertise, and leadership to our major innovation/new product development client engagements and to the firm as a whole. Whether It is shaping a vision for the future of cruise ship offerings, filling the new product pipeline at global snack food and beverage companies, or helping re-structure the brand porffolio of a major cereal brand, Heather’s spirit and knowledge consistently deliver breakthrough ideas and strategies. Additionally, she is a renowned expert on consumer behavior and attitudes especially in regard to the Boomer cohort, sustainability, and health & wellness.
Her deep expertise across a wide range of categories is the result of a long career within both the consulting and client realms. Prior to Egg, Heather held senior management, innovation, and new product development posts at Diageo, The Kellogg Company, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and ConAgra. Among her numerous new product successes are Viactiv (listed by BusinessWeek as a Best New Product of the Year) and Smirnoff Twisted V, both proving her expertise in “women’s health.”
Heather moved to Boulder thinking she’d have time to let her artistic abilities as a painter come to life. While her canvas may not be filled with landscapes, her creative spirit is often on display within her many client engagements. Heather earned her MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School and also has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Illinois.
