I'm an unusual hybrid. Half insatiably curious seeker of human truth, half tech geek trying to figure out where technological progress is taking humanity. I'm constantly poking around trying to figure what's at the root of why people do what they do. And I'm fascinated with the history of humanity and its interaction with technology, to the point where I speak about it at places like the SXSW interactive festival.
No surprise that a big part of my job at Egg is driving our Over-the-Shoulder digital ethnography app and making sure it remains the market's best offering for using mobile phone capability to dig for powerful human truths.
Prior to Egg, I spent fifteen years working as a strategic planner for advertising agencies on brands including Kraft Mac & Cheese, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Jell-O, Taco Bell, Motorola, and just about every beer and spirits brand you could name. Most recently I was EVP, Group Planning Director at Draftfcb Chicago, where I was in charge of developing and training the planning department and the agency in the digital/social/mobile space.
Outside of Egg, I'm a husband, a father of two young boys, a semi-serious road rider and a frustrated chef.
