As an Egg partner and Chief Operating Officer, I strive to keep our firm in a happy equilibrium when it comes to staffing, workload, profitability, and staff satisfaction – all of which seem to have a tight, positive correlation to the supply level of the office refrigerator! I draw up on all the experiences of my decade-plus tenure at Egg, working through all kinds of client types and project needs, to keep us all pointed toward a bright, long-term future.
Though I spend much of my time tuning the growing, internal Egg machine, I still contribute to our strategic deliverables as well as a project leader, especially in the areas of communications and advertising development. I visited five continents last year alone in service of clients looking to bring region-specific perspectives to their marketing initiatives. It’s hard to remember back to my life before Egg, but a few recently unearthed FAX pages indicate I worked as a strategic planner in San Francisco advertising agencies through the 1990s, after graduating from Stanford University. In the occasional five-minute breaks between BlackBerry alerts, I enjoy skiing Vail’s Back Bowls, working on my golf game, and saddling my newborn son with outlandish expectations for his future athletic success.
