As a Director of Strategy in our Chicago office I’ve spent an inordinate amount of my nearly 3 years here working in a space not unfamiliar to an Irishman like myself: Liquor.
When not immersing myself in cocktail culture, I’ve spent time leading innovation and brand strategy projects for other manly brands such as Miller Genuine Draft, Johnsonville and Porsche.
Prior to joining Egg, I spent time on the other side of the proverbial marketing fence with Ticketmaster, Bally Total Fitness and Red Bull, where I was fortunate to be a part of the U.S. launch of what is arguably one of the most innovative products in CPG history.
Experiencing the power of the entrepreneurial spirit at Red Bull inspired me to co-found Bamboo, an innovation services and experiential marketing consultancy. From there it was on to planning at Leo Burnett and work in the world of corporate responsibility strategy.
As veteran of the Michigan pond hockey circuit, I’m on a personal mission to teach my twin daughters the proper definitions of “icing” and “hooking.”
