As a natural born ethnographer, I’m proud to say that after nearly two decades in this field, I still feel highly privileged and passionately engaged with consumer interaction. Uncovering and understanding deep human truths and desires and then extrapolating them into innovative and successful brand insights is simply damn interesting and fun.
As a Director here at Egg I’ve happily become known as ‘Qualitative Moderator in Chief’ and as such have mined insights across a vast array of categories and consumers. Recent ends of the spectrum included a men’s underwear creative development project among women (highly engaging), then a much more emotionally draining but rewarding exploratory with parents of children with ADHD.
Before Egg, I was a Director with Millward Brown (Quantitatively then Qualitatively), Greenfield Consulting (Qualitatively) and also wrote for and presented at Esomar.
Outside of work I spend my time with my wife and three children. When not re-learning algebra or playing Star Wars Legos, I’m generally racing mountain bikes on our beautiful local trails.
